| Job Description | Responsibilities: - Administer the daily cash activity for VMware’s entities in Asia Pacific region, including China, Singapore, Australia: 1. Ensure all accounts are funded to cover payments (AP/Payroll/FX/Investments/IC settlements etc); 2. Initiate daily domestic and international funds transfers; 3. Determine excess cash balances to be invested and initiate payments. - Supervise any foreign exchange activity for VMware’s Asia Pacific region, including the launch of RMB invoicing in China. - Manage intercompany settlements. - Monitor and reconcile banking fees. - Manage queries regarding transactions on the bank accounts. - Assist with bank guarantee requests. - Manage requests in relation to direct debit setup or cancellation. - Ensure treasury procedures are up to date and reflective of treasury key controls and segregation of duties. - Support all inquiries and testing necessary for SOX compliance and external audit requirements. - Administer VMware’s Asia Pacific’s global bank accounts, including setup of new bank accounts, approved access, and updating documentation and authorized signers as required. - Prepare various weekly and monthly reports in support of Treasury reporting requirements. - Assist with implementation of Treasury Workstation. - Other ad hoc Treasury projects as necessary. Requirements: - Bachelors in Accounting or Finance. - 2-4 years Treasury experience. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows: Excel and PowerPoint. - Oracle experience preferred. - Demonstrate the ability to work independently and effectively with banks and internal business partners. - Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills. - Accurate and detail oriented with ability to multitask. - Candidate with billigual skill in English and Chinese is preferred.
